Overview
Set out on an unforgettable 9-day Ladakh group expedition, a journey that takes you deep into some of the most remote and breathtaking landscapes on the planet. From peaceful monasteries and high mountain passes to crystal-clear lakes and endless open roads, this journey is everything an adventure lover dreams of.
The journey begins in Leh, where you ease into the mountains while exploring local landmarks like Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Namgyal Monastery, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, and the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. These first days help you acclimatize and soak in Ladakh’s calm, spiritual vibe before the real journey begins.
Soon, the road leads you over the legendary Khardung La Pass (17,982 ft) and into the beautiful Nubra Valley, a cold desert surrounded by mountains, sand dunes, and the famous double-humped camels. From here, you travel along the scenic Shyok route to reach the iconic Pangong Lake, where the water changes color with the sky and time seems to slow down.
The adventure goes even deeper as you head to Hanle, one of Ladakh’s most remote villages, known for its silence, star-filled skies, and India’s highest astronomical observatory. The highlight of the journey comes when you travel to Umling La (19,024 ft) — the highest motorable road in the world. Standing there feels less like reaching a destination and more like touching the sky.
From the extreme heights, the journey continues to the peaceful Tso Moriri Lake, one of Ladakh’s most untouched and beautiful places. With fewer crowds and pure natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to pause, reflect, and take it all in.
After days of travelling through high passes, hidden valleys, and sleeping under endless stars, you return to Leh carrying more than just photos — you come back with a calm mind, a full heart, and stories you’ll tell for a lifetime.
