Overview
Your journey begins gently in Leh with local sightseeing, giving you time to settle into the mountains and breathe in Ladakh’s calm energy. Visit peaceful places like Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and Namgyal Monastery, where silence, prayer flags, and wide mountain views set the tone for the adventure ahead.
Once you’re properly acclimatized, the ride shifts gears as you head towards the legendary Khardung La Pass (17,982 ft). Crossing one of the world’s highest motorable roads is an experience in itself, and on the other side lies the beautiful Nubra Valley — a land of contrasting landscapes, ancient monasteries, rolling sand dunes, and the famous double-humped camels.
The journey then takes you further north to Turtuk, India’s last village near the Indo-Pak border. With its unique Balti culture, warm-hearted locals, and breathtaking views of the Shyok Valley, Turtuk feels like a place frozen in time.
From here, you ride towards the stunning Pangong Lake, where endless shades of blue reflect the sky and surrounding mountains. Standing by the lake, it’s hard not to feel a deep sense of peace — this is one of those moments that stays with you long after the ride ends.
The circuit comes full circle as you return to Leh via the scenic Chang La Pass (17,688 ft). By the time you roll back into town, you’ll carry more than just photos — you’ll have shared laughs, new friendships, and unforgettable stories from one of Ladakh’s most incredible journeys.
